What to Watch After “Nailed It! Mexico”, Find Similar Series

Nailed It! was inspired by the craze of people trying and failing to make elaborate cakes they found on the Internet. Three amateur bakers with demonstrated poor baking skills attempt to re-create edible masterpieces for a $10,000 prize and the Nailed It! trophy. Competitors take part in two challenges over the course of the 35-minute episodes.

The first challenge is called "Baker's Choice", where the contestants pick one of three existing confectionery treats and try to recreate it. The winner of this challenge gets a special prize and is allowed to wear a golden chef's hat.

In the second challenge, "Nail It or Fail It", contestants have two hours to recreate a complicated cake from scratch. They each receive a "Panic Button" which allows them to get three minutes of assistance from one of the judges. The worst-performing baker from the first challenge gets a second button to distract the other bakers – the specific function varies depending on the episode, but normally involves Nicole annoying the bakers. The three judges decide on the winning cake based upon presentation and taste. The winner receives a trophy and the $10,000 prize.

Every episode follows three contestants, who are aspiring bakers but lack the standard skill set for the same. They race against the clock facing two complex tasks, and try their level best to achieve the precision set by the choicest and most experienced pâtissiers. They present their creations to the judges with a vehement “Wer kann, der kann!” which translates to “Who can, We Can!” The judging panel involves a comedian-actor and a renowned chef, who remain constant throughout the show while the third spot keeps changing with a new celebrity judge, in every episode.

Five pairs of travellers participate in an epic race that will take them through many countries. However, there is a catch, the pairs cannot take planes, must leave behind their smartphones and credit cards, and will not have access to the internet. Provided only with the cash equivalent of their airfare from their starting destination to the finishing line, they must find innovative ways to manage their budget and conduct their journey. If they run out of money, they must earn some more to continue the journey. The duos must also pass through five checkpoints along the way.

"Adventure Capitalists" can succinctly be described as "Shark Tank" for outdoor enthusiasts. In each hourlong episode, hopeful entrepreneurs pitch the investors -- the titular "adventure capitalists" -- their ideas for new outdoor products. The investors then head out into the world, going on expeditions through a variety of challenging terrains, to experience the products firsthand to see if they live up to the entrepreneurs' claims. If the tests are successful, the potential backers can choose to make a large investment in each product. The investors who have the option to change the entrepreneurs' lives include former NFL player and TV host Dhani Jones, former Olympic skier Jeremy Bloom and American gymnast and Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson East.
