American Housewife stars Katy Mixon as Katie Otto, a confident, unapologetic wife, and mother of three, raising her flawed family in the wealthy Westport, Connecticut, filled with “perfect” mommies and their “perfect” offspring.

Joining Katie in her perfectly imperfect world is her husband, Greg Otto, who supports her in every way possible but with a dash of reality thrown in as they work to ensure their children don’t end up like everyone else.

Despite her flaws and unconventional ways, Katie wants the best for her kids and will fight tooth and nail to instill good old-fashioned values in them.

The series begins when the group meets Will, a divorced man in his 30s who is so focused on raising his daughter that he has lost sight of who he is as a man. When the other single parents see just how invested Will has become with PTA, parenting, and princesses, they band together to get him out in the dating world and make him realize that parenthood does not mean sacrificing everything about one's own identity.
