This limited series is based on the stranger-than-fiction account of a prison break in upstate New York in the summer of 2015 that spawned a massive manhunt for two convicted murderers. The prisoners were aided in their escape by a married female prison employee with whom they both became sexually entangled.

India Eisley, who stars in the series, brings the character of Fauna Hodel to life, while Chris Pine plays the former sailor new magazine reporter Jay Singletary. Adapted from the real life story of Fauna Hodel, the series also features names such as Jefferson Mays, Yul Vazquez, Justin Cornwell, Dylan Smith, Jay Paulson, Golden Brooks.
