About That Girl Lay Lay

That Girl Lay Lay follows Lay Lay, an avatar from a phone app, and Sadie, a girl who is struggling to make her mark in school and in need of a best friend to talk to. After Sadie wishes upon a star that her hype-girl avatar Lay Lay was real, she magically comes to life, and the two friends learn that when they are together, they can accomplish anything. That Girl Lay Lay also stars Peyton Perrine III as Sadie's brother, Marky; Tiffany Daniels as Sadie's mom, Trish; Thomas Hobson as Sadie's dad, Bryce; and Caleb Brown as Lay Lay and Sadie's classmate, Jeremy.

The series marks Nickelodeon's first project under an overall deal with That Girl Lay Lay to develop original multiform programming and music initiatives, and build a cross-category consumer products business. In addition to her new comedy series, Nickelodeon's comprehensive strategy for That Girl Lay Lay includes supporting her music career and an exclusive line of consumer products, with merchandising agreements spanning categories such as softlines, toy, publishing and more.

The USA Network/SYFY hit series "Chucky" has been renewed for a second season.

"We're thrilled to start pulling the strings on a second season of puppet mayhem with 'Chucky,'" said executive producer Don Mancini. "Many thanks to our partners at USA, SYFY and UCP for their incredible support and guidance bringing 'Chucky' to the small screen, bigger than ever. And to the fans, Chucky sends his still-undying thanks, and a message: 'This isn't over, not by a long shot. You better watch your backs in 2022!'"

Produced by UCP, the series will be executive produced by creator Don Mancini (Hannibal, SYFY's CHANNEL ZERO), David Kirschner (Hocus Pocus, Frailty), Nick Antosca (Hulu's The Act, SYFY's CHANNEL ZERO) and Harley Peyton (Twin Peaks, SYFY's CHANNEL ZERO). Mancini, who penned the film franchise, will also write the adaptation, serve as showrunner and direct the first episode.

Since its debut in March, "Super Sema" has become a global hit reaching millions of viewers around the world. The 12-episode order of season two will premiere later this year. The season one finale of this free-to-stream series is available today, Friday, May 21 at 8:00AM PT / 11AM ET, on Super Sema's official YouTube channel.
