About Nuclear Family
With raw intimacy, humor, and suspense, NUCLEAR FAMILY tells the extraordinary story of a first-generation lesbian family, from its origins in outlaw counterculture to the mainstream court system's attack on and ultimate defense of Ry's and her mom's rights and existence, ending in a landmark legal decision that would change the way gay families were perceived forever. At its heart, this story of epochal conflict is also a tale about empathy, as Ry investigates the ambitions and desires of her moms, her sperm donor, and all their allies and enemies as she struggles to hear and accept their divergent perspectives. In a world of profoundly polarized thinking, NUCLEAR FAMILY proposes a way of understanding conflict that resonates with anyone who struggles with unresolved issues within their own families, their own lives, and our broader world.

Directed by Jody McVeigh-Schultz and produced by Mark Wahlberg's Unrealistic Ideas, THE MURDERS AT STARVED ROCK explores this 60-year-old murder mystery. The convicted killer, Chester Weger, maintains his innocence after sixty years in prison and seeks exoneration. Haunted by the murders in his hometown, David Raccuglia has spent the last 15 years delving into the case files, convinced that the whole truth has yet to be uncovered. As a child growing up in LaSalle, David lived in fear of Weger, who was characterized as the local "bogeyman." Further complicating David's search for answers is the role his own father played in the trial; Anthony Raccuglia was the determined, young prosecutor who put Weger behind bars, believing steadfastly in his guilt. With a complicated father/son relationship at its core, THE MURDERS AT STARVED ROCK traces a twisting path of inconsistencies, cover-ups and lies, unearthing new clues and potential suspects while questioning the very nature and reliability of memory. THE MURDERS AT STARVED ROCK is a probing investigation into a sixty-year-old crime clouded by the passage of time, the vagaries of memory and ever-shifting perceptions. As the multifaceted series explores the far-reaching shockwaves of the murders and uncovers long buried clues, David remains consumed by a central mystery: is the real Chester Weger a monster or a martyr? Did his father help convict an innocent man?
Amazon Prime Video unboxed the trailer for the eccentric docuseries LuLaRich. The directors, who created the buzzy documentary Fyre Fraud, take viewers on a deep-dive into the ups and downs of the notorious multilevel-marketing company LuLaRoe, which is known for their over-the-top leggings. The four-part docuseries features explosive interviews with co-founders DeAnne and Mark Stidham, former employees, and hard-working "independent distributors," who sought out a better life for their families - only to encounter what many allege was a full-blown pyramid scheme. All four episodes of LuLaRich will launch September 10, 2021 on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. "LuLaRich is a modern comedy of errors with important social commentary. We knew from day one that the world needed another look at this wacky MLM-turned-dumpster-fire, and think this could be the birth of a whole new doc genre... True-Comedy," said directors and executive producers Jenner Furst and Julia Willoughby Nason. LuLaRich is a production of Amazon Studios and The Cinemart. Jenner Furst and Julia Willoughby Nason co-direct and executive produce alongside Mike Gasparro, Blye Pagon Faust, and Cori Shepherd Stern.
Actress and activist Evan Rachel Wood takes her experience as a survivor of domestic violence to pursue justice, heal generational trauma, and reclaim her story in a culture that instinctively blames women. The film intimately charts her journey as she moves toward naming her infamous abuser for the first time.
